Invader Skoodge Invader Skoodge Actually, for me, I bought Trackmania on disc and a few months later, it came out on PS plus for free, but I click to start and it still says insert the disc.

I did the exact same with Until Dawn and it worked fine for me. So if I delete the version that requires me to use the disc, I can just install the digital version? You shouldn't need to delete it, when you click on download through the store, PSN should detect that you don't have the digital copy and simply download the digital version, overwriting the disc required one.

Should use the same saves and trophies. I've done this with both Destiny games and a few others. Until you delete the disc version even though both games are the same , it will require the disc to be inserted. I think of it like the disc containing a license to play the game that isn't inherent in the installation.

The downloaded version has this license inherent in the installation this probably isn't totally accurate, but it definitely provides a basis for how the installations work. Show 2 more comments. It isn't likely that the thread creator has a different region of game from his friend.

I bought my physical copy here in sweden and the game through PSN europe version. I have made a post here where you can read more information about my setup. On the box the number says CUSA I bought the game at Webhallen which is one of the biggest game store in Sweden.

I did some googling but i cant seem to find what region this number belongs to i just had assumed since i bought the game from a respectable local store its European version. Why would a Swedish store sell a Russian version. Is this why my Disc is not compatible with the digital version i bought from PSN? If so i need to double check my future purchases and also confront the store as to why they have sold me a non European version of the game.

Appreciate some clarification on this topic. Just curious, if i save my gamedata to a USB and change the folder to match my Disc version and import it will the save data be compatible? Any how i'm in contact with Webhallen and at the moment they dont seem to believe that its a Russian version so i will send them a picture of my game sticker.
